Melissa Sabo [ OTR/L, CSRS ]   Lead Consultant

Melissa Sabo has over 15 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist and consultant in the skilled nursing, hospital and home care settings. Melissa has served as a compliance officer and clinical liaison for regional contract rehabilitation companies. She focuses on pragmatic and practical solutions that are cost effective and realistic. Her specialties include fall prevention, interdisciplinary pain management, wound care, wheelchair positioning, and oversight of all aspects of rehabilitation. Additionally, she is an expert in improving team dynamics and assisting with efficiency and task delineation within an organization.  In her free time, she enjoys walking her pet Yorkie, Professor Rolo, or volunteering at her church as a wedding coordinator.

Melissa Keiter  [ RN, RAC-CT, DNS-CT, DON ]

Melissa Keiter, R.N. has more than 20 years of administrative and management experience long term care facilities. Her primary expertise is in revenue enhancement and strategic planning of Case Mix Index (CMI) and Medicare RUG utilization. Melissa conducts a variety of operational and clinical nursing audits for customers in facilities ranging from large metropolitan nursing facilities to rural communities. She focuses on Department of Health surveys, policy and procedure implementation and mock surveys. She also aides and oversees interim management and consulting projects as an Interim RNAC and Interim Director of Nursing, impacting all aspects of nursing services. Melissa is RAC-CT certified for RNAC coverage, and certified as a Director of Nursing and Nurse Educator. When she is not consulting, Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter and two sons, especially attending her youngest son’s baseball games.

DEVIN Kassi [ PT, DPT ]  Home Health Consultant

Devin Kassi has ten years of therapy operational experience in the continuum of care, specializing in Home Health Services. She has overseen therapy operations for Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, and Outpatient settings for Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Free-Standing Assisted Living Communities, Memory Care Communities, and General Communities.  Having managed over 100 clinicians, Devin has vast experience in leading home health teams and financial operations, managing agency benchmarks, tracking revenue cycles, as well as implementing effective operational processes, policies and procedures. Since 2015, she has been a Guest Lecturer for A.T. Still University Physical Therapy Department. When she is not consulting, Devin spends time with her daughter and husband.  She is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys hiking and outdoor activities.

Trish Hall [ ALM, CDP, CDCM, CACCDT]  Assisted Living Consultant

Trish is an accomplished Assisted Living Executive Director with over 17 years in the healthcare industry and a history of top rated state survey results.  Trish specializes Focused Preparation Mock Surveys to verify that operations and your team are fulfilling the company’s mission and demonstrating compliance.  She also has a passion for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care and is a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Care Manager, and Alzheimer & Dementia Trainer.  She has experience with starting up secured units in Nursing Homes, serving as a corporate committee member for implementing policies and procedures in AL communities, and was involved in expansions of Alzheimer’s communities.  Trish was instrumental in a clinical committee for the reduction of antipsychotics and implementing the use of non-pharmacological interventions and behavior plans in a LTC unit.  She has created programs that promoted an increase of permanent resident move-ins while increasing revenue with only minor investments for the company.  She believes in leading by example and team building.  She is an avid photographer - when you don’t see her in healthcare you will see her behind the camera!

Ashley K. Boyle [ MS, CCC/SLP, RAC-CT, CDP, CADDCT ]

As a Speech Language Pathologist, Ashley Boyle has focused her specialization in dementia care and has supervised many new Clinical Fellows in Speech Language Pathology. Ashley has experience as a Regional Director for a multi-state therapy provider in Continuing Care Retirement Communities and free standing Skilled Nursing Facilities. She also has expertise in operational strategies within long-term care settings, and has obtained her RAC-CT certification to further enhance her knowledge and provide education to nurses and administration in this setting. Having managed up to 200 clinicians, Ashley is skilled in providing leadership to therapists and other healthcare professionals in an ever changing healthcare environment. She is a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, as it is her passion to promote quality care and education to better the lives of those living with dementia. Ashley is an avid dog lover and music enthusiast, giving her an ability to connect with many residents in her communities with these same interests.

Cassie Shambaugh [ RAC-CT ]

Cassie Shambaugh is a billing consultant who specializes in many aspects of healthcare billing across the spectrum of care. She has over 10 years of experience as a Director of Billing for multiple regional healthcare and rehabilitation companies. She provides consulting to complete billing audits and analytics, setting up and managing systems software and training in billing practices to optimize reimbursement. She has completed her RAC-CT certification and ICD-10 training which assist her with improving accuracy of billing with Medicare, including CCI (correct coding initiative) edits and accurate billing modifiers. When she is not working, Cassie likes to watch her daughter in collegiate accro tumbling competitions and playing with her grandchildren.

Chelsea Boyle [ OTR/L, RAC-CT ]   Founder

Chelsea is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  Chelsea has developed progressive programs and systems for long term care and continuing care retirement communities including nursing and rehabilitation collaboration, Medicare documentation, clinical reporting systems, EMR management, and implementation of innovative and comprehensive compliance and operational strategies. Chelsea’s leadership experience has included management of over 900 employees spanning multiple states across the healthcare spectrum.


She founded Gravity Healthcare Consulting to provide specialized and customized consulting, training and mentorship in the healthcare communities she serviced. Chelsea endeavors to be a trusted resource and partner with the healthcare teams to promote improved systems and processes through auditing, education, and training programs, strategies to advance health care reform, and advocating for excellence in care.


Chelsea is a member of Leading PA, Leading Age MD, District of Columbia Association (DCHCA), Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA), National Association for Support of Long-Term Care (NASL), and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Chelsea spends her time outside of work with family and attending her children’s many sports activities.


Dustin Freas is a Nursing Home Administrator and a licensed business consultant. He specializes in evaluating and solving organizational inefficiency. Dustin meets regularly with state and federal policymakers to promote measures that increase access, lower costs and improve the quality of healthcare.  He is a strong advocate for a consumer-centered health care system, value-based payment design, and the expansion and utilization of health information technology. He is a member of Leading Age as well as Leading Age of PA, MD, DC, VA, and NC. He also has membership in District of Columbia Association (DCHCA); Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA); and Board Member of National Association for Support of Long-Term Care (NASL). Dustin spends his free time supporting his community by volunteering for local groups.
